You can't beat London theater. The old Vic is worth seeing in its own right---just as a historic building. We went to see Shaw's Pygmalion and were very taken with the acting. It was a fun peoduction. Also recognized an actor from British TV. We had reserved really great seats. Everything went smoothly.

The show was great, but the theatre was unbearably hot and very tiny seats at the upper level of the Lillian Bayliss circle, seats a few rows further on were cooler and far more comfortable and spacious. Did not enjoy the experience overall, but you get what you pay for - lesson learnt
