An intelligent, creative and delightfully slightly-raunchy show. The weaving of old and new popular songs into the writing of the show makes it surprising and fresh. The choreography is fabulous and the costumes are interesting with my favourite being the men in blazer and long tutus. I went with a friend but I'm going to visit again with my husband. It's one of the shows I'd love to see over and over again.

The set design + the costumes!!!! Honestly, time just flew by. I went with a friend and we didn't know Moulin Rouge at all. But the story was so easy to follow, and the dialogue was simple to understand! Quick tip: don't get seats close to the stage.

Good actors and set design. The experience was good, though if you're a big fan of the movie, you'll be disappointed because it isn't faithful to the film's plot. They make Satine an empowered character, mix in tons of pop songs, and cut important songs from the movie.
