  • 21-year-old Leo sets off from the West Coast on his bicycle, along with his best friend. The trip is expected to take several weeks, and Leo completely disappears from the grid. Leo’s 91-year-old grandmother, Vera, is quite surprised to find him at the door of her West Village apartment, with no warning beforehand. She learns that the trip that started together had finished alone. Will their grief bring the unlikely pair closer than ever before?

Written by Amy Herzog, 4000 miles went on nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 2013. The play was praised for its narrative, and for its ability to leave a lasting impression on its audience. Timothee Chalamet makes his West End debut, with veteran actress Eileen Atkins by his side. With a career spanning more than sixty years, Atkins has won numerous awards, including an Emmy, a BAFTA, and 3 Olivier Awards. She is renowned for her work in The Crown and numerous show by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Do not miss this gripping revival at the Old Vic!
