CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5*Matilda the Musical* was a pleasant surprise. From the very beginning, the show is cheerful, energetic, and full of enthusiasm. The cast radiates joy and effortlessly draws the audience into the story. The singing is truly outstanding. All the songs are performed exceptionally well, and the quality of the vocal performances is top-notch. The role of Matilda is portrayed fantastically; a truly excellent Matilda who is both moving and convincing. Bulstronk is also brilliantly portrayed and makes a strong impression, while Miss Honey is portrayed as warm, believable, and beautifully sung. In addition, all the children on stage deserve high praise. They act, sing, and dance with tremendous energy and talent, which makes the performance even more special.RRon K
CoupleVerified booking6 days ago5/5We had a fantastic time at Matilda. I took my teenage daughter, and it completely won both of us over. The staging is incredibly clever, the music is sharp and catchy, and the young cast brings an unbelievable amount of energy and talent to the stage. It balances the dark, whimsical humor of Roald Dahl perfectly with a lot of heart. It’s one of those rare productions that is genuinely brilliant for both adults and teenagers alike. The show itself was an absolute highlight—highly recommended!CCiara F
GroupVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5This was fantastic. I went with my two boys aged 9 and 8. It was the 8 year olds birthday. They really enjoyed the show. We had partially obstructed seats but even allowing for that it was amazing. The staff were very helpful and the theatre very comfortable. Treats very expensive (2 tubs of ice cream for £11) and security on the way in was a bit confusing. But didn't take from how good the show was. Already planning on our return visit (might pay for the better seats though!)JJulie R
GroupVerified bookingYesterday5/5The atmosphere was electric. The performance was out of this world. Everyone looked like they were having such a good time. Whilst all the cast were amazing, Mathilda was outstanding. She just stole the show. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance and would definitely go again.WWalter S
