I've been a Roald Dahl fan since childhood. Seeing one of my favorite books come to life in song and on stage was magical. If you are looking for a colorful, boisterous, immersed inner child inspiring story about good vs. bad, try Mathilda. Photos are not allowed in the theater, but the performance and stage set are really creative. Do be prepared for the show audience to be over 50% school aged children.

Matilda was fabulous! We bought the least expensive tickets available, and had a marvelous time! I was told that if we had the chance, we should catch a theatre show in London, that the quality would be better than what you find in New York, at lower cost. This show did not disappoint!

The energy as unbelievable, everyone was so talented and the technical side of things blew us away! The only downside was the seats: we were pretty far back and coulddn't see really well everyt time the actors were at the front of the stage.

Came in with no expectations and left genuinely impressed, especially by the young actors. The scenography was incredible, probably one of the better ones i've seen. My only complaint is the AC on the higher level was a bit too strong
