The place is magnificent, but the waiting is not well organized. When you have a Lisboa Card pass, you don't know whether to collect a ticket from the ticket office or go straight to the queue.

The building was simply gorgeous and I was amazed by its architecture. We need to line up outside for some time (50 minutes) to enter, and it would be great if the site could provide more guidance in an organized manner.

Ein Hinweis, wenn man zu Fuß vom Bahnhof in Sintra zur Burg geht.... An Kreuzungen bessere Beschreibung, wo der Weg weiter geht.

Seamless activation

Exchange your digital voucher for a personal Lisboa card, which is valid from the date you've filled in during the checkout. Validate it on a form of public transport and use it for either 24/48/72 hours, depending on your ticket choice.

Additional information

Museums and national monuments are closed on Mondays.
You can visit each attraction only once.
Collect the Lisbon Card on the day you choose when booking. You will have 1 year to activate the card. Once redeemed, it is valid for 24h, 48h, or 72h depending on the ticket option chosen.
Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).
All cards must be exchanged at the same redemption point.

After you activate the card, it will remain valid for 24h, 48h or 72h, depending on the option chosen at the time of purchase.
Carry your Lisbon Card and display it at each attraction with a valid photo ID.
