The staff were so kind and willing to have a conversation with us. We booked a combined access ticket for both the park and the palace. On the day of our visit, we were driving a rental car with our baby from Porto and missed our timeslot due to traffic. We understood that the palace is quite strict with their scheduling and were happy to at least have had access to the park grounds so we went there directly. With it being winter, it was like a secret garden with few visitors and had moody fog enveloping the area. It was truly lovely and the dormant greenery showed us how spectacular the grounds were in any season, really. That said, we eventually wandered up to the palace itself and explained our situation to staff. They were willing to let us into the palace, despite the missed timeslot, which we were so grateful for. We also realized the context of that decision was based on it being a quieter season. Had this happened in high season there is just no way that we would have been let in so we appreciated the opportunity. So definitely be on time, build in an extra 30 minutes to get to the palace through the park, ie if your timeslot is 2, get there for 130 at the absolute latest. It was such a lovely visit and we can't wait to visit again in another season.

Beautiful architecture, breaktaking vistas of the city not to mention the exquisite tile work! Would highly recommend Headout .

We visited the Pena Palace, a beautiful place with a wonderful park full of little paths to explore. It was easy to get in with online tickets.

Highlights were access & unexpected extras. We appreciated being fast tracked on a long queue at jeronimos monastery, the efficiency of public transport in the city & visiting places we wouldn't have thought of (eg carriage museum was surprisingly interesting!). Don't miss the resistance Museum for a different side to Portuguese history. I would suggest reading carefully what exactly the card entitles. I got caught that it doesn't cover public transport around Sintra (& that it only gives a 10% discount there - & you still have to book ahead for a times ticket!). Maybe I didn't read details enough - maybe it was not made clear enough. Also worth checking what places will be shut when you visit (included access to Belém tower was t helpful when it is shut for renovation). We got our value, but not in Sintra (which used a day of our 72 hours).

Excellent experience with Headout. Easy pick up and easy entrance at the Lisbon Oceanarium. The Oceanarium experience itself is amazing and the whole area around it. We used the card for the discount at the science museum as well. Skipping the line at Jerónimos monastery was also great, because there were quite a lot tourist groups. All in all - I recommend it.

Tutto veramente stupendo... a partire dalla guida veramente brava, competente e disponibile... esperienza fantastica che consiglio vivamente a chi si trova a Lisbona... grazie naturalmente a SL Benfica per permettere a tutti di fare questa esperienza magnifica.

Un luogo che sembra respirare con l’oceano. L’Oceanário di Lisbona non è solo una visita, è un’immersione lenta e ipnotica in un mondo blu che cambia ritmo a ogni passo. La vasca centrale è un cuore pulsante: squali, razze e pesci danzano in silenzio come se il tempo avesse deciso di rallentare per guardarli meglio. Gli ambienti sono curati, pensati per stupire senza mai diventare caotici. Ogni ecosistema racconta una storia diversa, con pannelli chiari e un allestimento che invita alla curiosità, anche negli adulti. Perfetto per famiglie, coppie o viaggiatori solitari in cerca di meraviglia. Si esce con la sensazione di aver viaggiato molto più lontano di quanto dica la mappa. Un’esperienza elegante, educativa e profondamente rilassante. Assolutamente imperdibile a Lisbona 🌊🐠

Oh my, what a magical place to visit. I think I took aroubd 400photos during our visut. The Initiation Well was a real treat - it was stunning and I must say I was relieved to not have to climb the stairs to exit. We visited on a warm, sunny Winter day and the gardens were beautiful - we enjoyed the seperate gardens and stairways and the views are sublime. The Palace and Chalel were magical. We spent aroubd 4 hours and loved every moment.
