The Rijksmuseum is a must-see for anyone visiting Amsterdam, especially for art and history lovers. The museum is impressive, both in size and in the richness of its collections, and houses some of the most famous masterpieces of Dutch painting, such as works by Rembrandt and Vermeer. The spaces are spacious, well-organized, and meticulously maintained. The exhibition layout is clear and takes you on a fascinating journey through centuries of Dutch history, art, and culture. I recommend setting aside at least half a day for the visit to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The audio guide is also very useful, enriching the experience with interesting and engaging explanations. Despite the high number of visitors, the flow is well managed, and you never feel overwhelmed by the crowds. In short, an extraordinary museum, well-organized and filled with iconic works: highly recommended.

This is an experience you absolutely must try if you’re in Amsterdam during the blooming season. We started at This is Holland: it’s easy to find and very well organized. The staff at the desk also speak Italian, so all you have to do is show up with your voucher and you’ll receive your official ticket without any trouble. The buses run very frequently, one after another, making the whole process very smooth. The park is very large: I recommend starting the tour from the outer loop and then moving into the central paths to get the most out of your visit. As for the cruise, I suggest evaluating it on the spot to see if it’s really worth it. The tour takes you to see the blooming fields, but it’s essential to catch the right time of year. This year, due to the heat, the fields outside the park had already faded, so it wouldn’t have been worth doing.

Keukenhof Gardens was absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The flowers are perfectly arranged, with endless colors and varieties that make every corner look like a postcard. The park is very well organized, clean, and easy to walk around. There are so many spots to take amazing photos, and the atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing. It’s definitely worth the visit, especially in spring. A truly unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Netherlands.

The tour bus driver Petra was incredibly kind and informative. So many recommendations, tips, and fun facts about Holland and the tulips. The Keukenhof itself was amazing. More tulips and flowers than you could ever imagine, really clean grounds, and wonderful staff who were very helpful and knew so much about the flowers.

So greatful to be able to see one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. I brought back incredible pictures to capture the beautiful colors and patterns that were created by the horticulturists that make this such a special place. These pictures are from my phone but there are lots more from my camera.

I had a lot of trouble at first because the instructions said to meet at a designated spot in front of an office. At the scheduled time, there was no one at the meeting point. So I called the support number, but unfortunately an automated system answered, which couldn’t resolve the issue, and there was no way to speak with a representative. Fortunately, I eventually went into the office and realized that this is where you pick up the physical tickets to join the tour and that we had to walk for 4 minutes to reach the bus that would take us to our destination. This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve booked excursions online, and it’s never happened before that we found no one at the meeting point and that the tickets we received online weren’t valid. In the future, you need to be clearer with your instructions and specify that we need to go into that office to pick up the paper tickets. Otherwise, the day went very well, thanks to the beautiful weather and because Keukenhof Park is truly magnificent.

The tour which included the coach there and back and the entry to the Keukenhof was good. However I was disappointed to find that I could not choose when I returned to Amsterdam. All passengers had to be on the coach at 13:45 which made it a 4hr visit. When I booked the trip the website told me that I could return to Amsterdam any time as the coaches left every 30 mins! This was not the case. I asked the driver and he informed me that the website was wrong and they have been trying to change it but it obviously hasn't happened yet. It would have been good to be informed about this change as I chose Headout because of the 'flexible' coach return times.
