To see the flowers at their best, it's recommended to visit Keukenhof in April when the park is in full bloom.
Keukenhof has a different theme each year, so it's worth checking in advance to see if there's a particular theme or exhibition you'd like to see.
Enjoy a leisurely break amidst the blooms. Picnics are allowed in designated areas, and several food stalls offer tasty options.
Venture into lesser-known areas for quieter moments and hidden gems like unique sculptures or themed gardens.
Arrive early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the gardens in a more tranquil atmosphere. The early hours provide excellent lighting for photography.

The word ‘Keukenhof’ can be translated to ‘kitchen garden’ in Dutch, in reference to the herbs that used to be gathered in the area for the castle kitchen.
The park is home to an English landscape garden, a Japanese landscape garden, a spring meadow, a natural garden, a historic garden, a garden maze, and several inspiration gardens that are uniquely planted each year.
Keukenhof was established in 1949 by a consortium of bulb growers and flower exporters to showcase their products.
Each autumn, 40 gardeners plant the 7 million bulbs, donated to the park by over 100 growers.
The Keukenhof Garden received 200,000 visitors in its first year.
