It was nice. Good route and nice audios while going around. The only thing I didn't like was that it is named "Hop on Hop off tour" but its a bus without stops, so especially with kids it would have been better to have that option of going down whenever you'd like.

Plus points:
- always good to have a general view of a city
- the 2 routes - historical & modern - are interesting
Minuses:
- too bad there weren't any intermediate stops so you could get off/climb to visit the sights
- not all audio outlets worked properly
- staff a bit nitpicky: with QR-Code + validity date, excessive to ask for printed tickets again

Went with my girlfriend and we both loved it. Sat up top, got great pics, learned cool facts about the city. Would recommend for couples.

We went on a whim and glad we did. Yes, you can’t get off. But we got to see all the big sights without walking our feet off. Staff was friendly, gave us free maps. Would do again if short on time.

It's ideal for a short stay! I advise people to take the whole tour by bus first. At each seat, you plug in the earphones provided when you get on the bus, select the language "French, English....." and learn about the history, places and monuments of the city, allowing you to visit a place or monument of your choice. Knowing that you can pick up the bus after a visit is a huge time saver.
Don't look for an information point when you arrive. Go straight to a bus stop marked "Tour Madrid" and get on, and everything will be explained to you.

The possibility of seeing the city illuminated, visiting streets different from the usual ones.
I did not like the volume of the carolers and the public address system, it was bad to hear and annoying.

Did this with a group of friends. The best part was just sitting up top, sun on our faces, watching Madrid go by. Traffic got us stuck a few times but we made a game out of spotting weird shop signs. Worth it for the chill vibes.
