Luciano, our guide, was an absolute dream! He was enthusiastic, funny, engaging, but above all knowledgeable, ensuring we had a really worthwhile and rewarding tour. Askos were also flexible, which was appreciated. Our tour was booked for 10:30 but our train from Naples broke down. I contacted Askos via WhatsApp and they advised us to contact one of their team when we got there. We eventually managed to get to Herculaneum and spoke to a very helpful Askos staff member. He arranged for us to join a later tour and gave us our entrance tickets beforehand so we could make the most of our time there. Highly recommended.

The surreal experience of standing in literally another world. The atmosphere was quiet and respectful but what I appreciated the most was one of the quietest politely asked some noisy visitors to member it was a museum and to be quieter. ! Clearly not just a tourist attraction a respected site by all .

The Herculanium site is just fantastic, i feel that you cannot visit Pompeii without seeing Herculanium. Herculanium feels less like a ruin. The archaeologist guide Luciano was knowledgeable and passionate bringing it all to life. It makes us want to go again. Best day of our Italian visit.

Our guide, Silvia, captivated us during the tour by sharing her knowledge and experience as an archaeologist. The tour gave us a chance to learn how people lived back then and to see the main ruins. A wonderful tour with a fantastic guide!

We were very pleasantly surprised by Herculano, and we also really enjoyed our guide, Carmelo. Not only did he explain everything perfectly, but he also conveyed a real passion for what he was telling us. He was very energetic, entertaining, and completely dedicated to his work. I highly recommend any tour with Carmelo.

A wonderful and fascinating place; the tour was interesting and detailed, offering insights into the daily lives of the people who had lived there. Changing the appointment was a hassle, involving a lot of back-and-forth, and I also had to change the earbuds three times before the audio connection to the guide finally worked. A small backpack still had to be checked in, even though there were tourists with much larger backpacks on the tour at the same time.

The site was verrry impressive. The archaeologist was highly knowledgeable and gave many interesting insights. Unfortunately, he often unnecessarily turned to sarcasm, and he WAY too often said how stupid he is and that he talks too much. The former was obviously not true and the latter was obviously true, especially with regards to saying he talked too much (pun intended).
