Combo (Save 5%): Hercolaneum & Pompeii entrances

With the online tickets at 9:00 AM, we bypassed the queue and made it onto the grounds beautifully before the big rush. The self-guided tour at our own pace through the site impressed us very much! We marveled at the highly developed construction methods of the Romans and the way of life as it must have been around 79 AD. We got an idea of what the catastrophe surrounding the eruption of Mount Vesuvius must have meant for the people living there back then, and we were fascinated by how the ash preserved everything for posterity, like in a time capsule!

Easy to book, nice place, worth to see. Pompeii offers a haunting, yet fascinating glimpse into ancient Roman life, frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Walking through its remarkably preserved streets, visitors can explore homes, temples, and vibrant frescoes that look almost untouched by centuries. The app was easy to use, entry was fast, and all points of interest were marked with numbers and descriptions. It's a shame it rained, but it wasn't slippery at all. The barrier-free accessible route was very well done. A great experience with still a lot left to see, hoping to return soon. Kudos to all the staff!

The experience with Headout was incredible: with tickets in hand, we had instant access to the park, not to mention the digital guide with accurate information about each spot in several languages. There were 4 of us and we all left very happy with our experience in Pompeii. Greetings from Spain.

Easy admission, but I have trouble walking... there is an elevator to go back down, but it's not signposted... luckily, a guide who knew the place accompanied me there... No explanations in French!!! It's a shame!
