Ordering was easy. Exchanging the voucher was also relatively simple. Where there is definitely room for improvement: reserving time slots at some attractions is only possible with the Lisboa Card serial number. However, you only get this upon exchanging the voucher. By then, available time slots are almost impossible to book. We had the 72-hour card and would only have been able to book time slots starting from the fourth day. So unfortunately, we couldn't see everything. But overall, the card is definitely worth it.

Easy to purchase the Lisboa Card, even simpler to use. Just tap in on the mode of transport you're using and on you get. It was also good for getting into attractions free, or the Catherdal with discount. Would definitely recommend if you plan on visiting lots of places when in Lisbon.

The Lisboa Card allowed us convenient and continuous use of all city public transit (bus, tram, and train). Priority access to the Pantheon is particularly worth noting, which, conversely, was not granted for the Jerónimos Monastery.

Booking and purchase went great. Confirmation received by email with an overview of the offices where the voucher can be exchanged for the physical card. Note: it is only available starting from the specified date; you cannot get it before.

We travelled all over on the Lisboa Card. Very easy and free access to the Caste. We also took the train to Sintra and Cascai on separate days. So easy to tap and go on the trams!

Extremely convenient for getting around on every type of transport Lisbon has to offer (bus, tram, metro, train to Sintra)—all free and included with the card. On top of that, there are many free monuments and attractions, plus discounts on all the rest. It is definitely worth the price. It's just a shame that for the mandatory booking to visit the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, you must have picked up the physical card after arriving in Lisbon, as you can't get the card online when purchasing it from home.

Seamless activation

Exchange your digital voucher for a physical Lisboa card from any of the redemption points mentioned in your voucher.

To activate it, you need to write your name, the date, and the exact time of activation on the card.

Use the card for the first time either on public transport or at a participating museum or attraction.

Validity: Before activation, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Additional information

You can visit each attraction only once.

Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).

All cards must be exchanged at the same redemption point.

Museums and national monuments are closed on Mondays.

Museums and monuments undergoing temporary renovation are clearly marked within the digital guidebook.

The Lisboa Card digital guide is an essential component of the product and must be downloaded by the cardholder to access all relevant information.

Customers can ONLY make ticket reservations for Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery AFTER exchanging their voucher for the physical Lisboa Card.

Entry to Jerónimos Monastery is subject to capacity limits and managed according to the monument’s operational guidelines.
