Race F1® Drive's Mixed Grid go-karting session in London with a 15-minute practice, 15-minute sprint, and instant lap times.
Getting started
On arrival, check in for your karting session. You then watch a safety briefing video, which includes subtitles for hearing impaired guests, before getting kitted out. After collecting your F1® Drive racesuit and helmet, you are assigned either a Cadet or Adult kart depending on age and package.
What to expect
F1® Drive London
This F1® Drive Mixed Grid format is designed for families and mixed abilities, with karts configured at a slower speed so different skill levels can drive together. The experience combines dedicated track time with simple, lap‑time based competition in a single karting session.
Features:
-
A 15-minute practice plus 15-minute sprint structure lets you first learn the circuit, then compete to set the fastest lap time in the timed run. Lap times appear instantly on screen during the session and are also sent to you by email after you finish.
-
Use of Cadet or Adult karts is included, with allocation based on age and package, so younger drivers and adults can take part in the same mixed-ability session. The race format is built for families and mixed abilities, rather than only experienced racers.
-
F1® Drive racesuits and helmets are provided as part of your booking, so you only need to arrive dressed for comfort under the gear. Before driving, everyone watches a safety briefing video with subtitles for hearing impaired guests.
-
Drive specially designed karts featuring DRS technology and an 18cm LED steering wheel display, complete with realistic engine sounds and race style feedback.
-
Navigate a technical circuit with two DRS zones, tight chicanes, and a long start finish straight, where 80% of each lap is driven flat out.
-
At the end of the sprint, you can step onto the winners podium for post-race celebrations, ideal for photos and comparing results. Access to the F1® Drive shop is also included, where you can browse merchandise, with any items and souvenir photos available to purchase separately.
