Professional instructors oversee the session, providing drivers with custom F1-inspired racing suits, safety helmets, and live telemetry data.

The authentic Grand Prix format includes a dedicated practice run, a competitive qualifying session, a grid start, and a podium celebration.

Participation requires drivers to be at least 14 years old and meet a 1.5m minimum height limit to safely manage the adult performance karts.

The top three finishers celebrate with a special podium moment, and a professional souvenir photo package can be purchased directly at the venue.

Getting started

On arrival, check in for your F1® Drive - Elite session and get introduced to the adult karts used for this format. You then attend a safety briefing with hearing-impaired subtitles so everyone can follow the instructions clearly. After this, you change into your F1® Drive racesuit, collect your helmet, and get ready to head to the track.

What to expect

F1® Drive London

The experience follows a Grand Prix race format with three distinct sessions that build from learning the track to full race conditions. You drive in two separate 15-minute on-track sessions before lining up for a competitive race with a grid start.

The Grand Prix race format, 3 sessions, gives you a structured flow of practice, qualifying-style running, and a final race so you can steadily increase pace and confidence.

Before you go out, a safety briefing with hearing-impaired subtitles explains circuit rules, flag signals, and kart operation in an accessible way for all participants.

F1® Drive racesuits and helmets provided ensure that you are correctly equipped for karting without needing to bring your own specialist gear.

Take the wheel in adult karts fitted with DRS technology and an 18cm LED steering wheel display, delivering realistic F1 engine sounds and control feedback.

Navigate a 500m circuit with 17 turns, two DRS zones, tight chicanes, and a long start-finish straight to challenge your racing skills.

Across the 2 x 15-minute on-track sessions, you focus on learning braking points, racing lines, and how to manage traffic while getting a substantial amount of seat time.

A grid start for a race session puts you in a full race scenario, reacting to the start signal and battling for position into the first corners rather than driving alone on track.

Throughout your runs, you receive instant lap times in experience and email, so you can compare each session, track improvements, and revisit your performance data later.

Enjoy food and drink nearby and browse official F1 DRIVE merchandise to make your visit a complete race day experience.

Once the chequered flag falls on your race session, you leave the circuit area and finish your experience with your lap times that are recorded in your email, ready to review and compare with your fellow drivers.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for go-karting.

Restrictions

Children under the age of 14 years are not allowed to take part in this experience.

Guests must be at least 1.2 metres tall to take part in this experience.

This experience is not recommended for those whose medical conditions may be worsened by physical exertion.

Anyone with a medical condition that prevents them from holding a driver's license cannot participate.

What's not allowed

Spectator ticket holders cannot take part in karting sessions.
