I purchased the 3 hr hop on hop off ticket and totally regretted it. The bus seemed to take forever to get going for a start. People fussing over things. My box where I sat to listen into the audio would not work. Over priced for what you get. I did not stay on until the end as was fed up with the waiting at each stop. However, seemingly the audio was pretty good, but I personally would not know. And it was good to get your bearings if you were a first time visitor to Rome

It was a relaxing way to see many sights and orient ourselves in such a big city. The ability to get off to explore and pick up another bus to continue was so useful. Best views are upstairs but that can be hot!!

Sometimes you stood at a stop for ages for no apparent reason, which made the whole thing tedious. At the Termini main station, we were able to watch a fight between drug addicts while standing for 20 minutes. We use the same company for all city trips, why not as satisfied as usual here.

The bus could have run more often as it was always terribly crowded with people barely jostling and arguing for seats. We used the same bus last year in September in Paris and it was much better

Ability to get on and off several times during the day to visit the most important monuments in the city without worrying about subway or other means if you are not very experienced. Friendly and helpful staff

Some of the buses are wheelchair accessible. This means wheelchair users can only board buses equipped with a footboard and dedicated space.

Passengers with wheelchairs are required to secure themselves and their wheelchairs with safety belts while the bus is in motion. The wheelchair must be locked with its brakes and placed in the designated space.

The service provider allows only one wheelchair on the bus at a time.
