Booking in advance to visit the Mosque-Cathedral was super easy on the Headout website. 1 hour later, the tickets were already downloaded to my smartphone. Scanning the QR code at the entrance of the Mosque-Cathedral was a breeze. You absolutely must visit this place! It's the most beautiful building I've ever seen 🤩 I highly recommend it.

Externally the facade shouts the Muslim faith with intricate arches and symbolism. Inside peace tranquility despite the number of visitors. Gasps arise from crowds as the lines of arches and colourful brickwork stretch your vision. Suddenly in the centre a magnificent cross of the Catholic Church resplendent in gold statutory and carvings. It made me question religious conflict. The staff handled the numbers swiftly but daringly. Not to be missed

You really have to go and see it to understand what it's all about, because just describing it is certainly not difficult, you'll absolutely love it, and in my opinion you should get a guide because there are so many references, connections, and time periods to understand and interpret that without a guide it's impossible to find your bearings! Plus, it's truly massive! I got lost inside and couldn't find my way out! 🤩
