The Pompei guided tour was very good. It has covered the daily life of the people of Pompei. The fact that the area of the Pompei site is huge, a guided tour truly saves us a lot of time to explore it on our own. A BIG round of applause to our tour guide Igor, who has made the tour very interesting. Highly recommend to those who will visit the Pompei ruins to book the guided tour.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the area was well-organized, but I must point out a few areas where I found the cleaning to be lacking. I didn’t see any cleaning staff walking along the walkways, and in some places I found paper and food scraps inside the column bases and on the floor (people’s lack of civility isn’t improving).

You walk through a village. Unlike other times, you don't just see the ruins from above—you actually step inside the houses and courtyards, see the fountains, mosaics, inscriptions, and frescoes... you even go into the bars! It's cool—I highly recommend it :)

The instructions were very clear, and it was easy to find where to pick up your ticket. Just be aware that they’ll try to sell you a map or an audio guide in addition to the one already included with your ticket. The one in the app was more than enough for me.

We only have 1 day so we did both PArco Archaeologico the same day, Ercolano in the morning, because of the smaller size and Pompeii in the afternoon. They gave a map with the most important places to see according to our time. It was perfect!

It was quick and easy; it’s also no problem that the ticket office is 15 minutes away from the shuttle buses—it’s right at the entrance, and the exit is by the shuttle buses. So it makes for a nice loop through Pompeii.

Regarding email that I have send you, I have gone to an office at 1st floor near train station then this office told me to go to the door 5 minutes away from there instead of the door which was closer. when I arrived to the mentioned the lady at the desk told me that she need to see all the family members where my family was waiting at the door near to train station, then we again waited for them to walk to the door I am standing. So this experience was just losing time becuse of silly procedures, If I waited normal ticket line at the door, I could enter probably 15 minutes earlier with no difficulties so this experience was not helpful. everything could be run through digital tickets and QR code

It was super easy with these tickets, and at a great price, too. All I had to do was go to a specific tourist information booth, and I got the tickets—which meant I didn’t even have to wait in the online line at the main entrance. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was that the cell service was very weak on the day of my visit, making it nearly impossible to load the map with the audio guide points. Since the audio guide can be downloaded in advance, it would be a good idea to offer the digital map for download as well, so that even if there are internet issues, visitors can still listen to the audio guide at the corresponding points.

I bought tickets with Headout online. When I arrived at the train station, I was met with a rep who said my ticket needed to be changed. I asked, why, she said to go to the desk so they can give me a regular ticket. Once at the desk, the rep said my ticket didn't come with audio anymore only a book/leaflet. They said if I wanted audio, I must pay extra 10Euro per person for a guided tour. I was shocked at this, I just wanted a headset. Once inside Pompeii I saw the audio kiosk issuing audio to guests. Although the guided tour was very good, for 2hours, I felt as though I had been scammed a little.
