The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Colosseum tour included the arena floor and he provided lots of information about the Colosseum both above and below ground. I found the Roman Forum tickets useful to get straight in with the tour guide however after a big Colosseum tour there was then too much information for me so we left the tour and wandered ourselves. If you feel the same...do not leave the tour until after your in the forum.

Visiting the Colosseum was the highlight of our trip to Rome. I'm very glad we booked the arena access and guided tour. Our guide, an Italian gentleman, spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable. It was fascinating to learn about its history and to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World firsthand.     Very good organization but we lost a lot of time in the bathroom of the forum (stop we made at the request of other members of the group) and this delayed us the visit, especially the Colosseum (the Colosseum closes early and we did not have time to finish the visit quietly).

    Amazing! You shouldn't hesitate to go on this guided tour because while walking throught this historical sites, you will get sense how it was to be Roman in that period. Filippo presented all the details in a very vivid and engaging way, so we really enjoyed this tour!
