GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5An amazing experience visiting the Colosseum! The tour was comprehensive, well-paced, and packed with fascinating history. What truly made it exceptional was Donatella. Her deep knowledge, warmth, and charm brought the ancient world to life. She shared wonderful details and graphics, and patiently answered every question we had. Thanks to her, it was an unforgettable day. Highly recommended!AAndrea T

The visit to the Colosseum, which includes access to the arena floor, allows you to see the monument from a unique perspective. The Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum were also very impressive. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain everything clearly. Highly recommended!AAmber C

FamilyVerified bookingLast week4/5Our family of 4 loved the experience to go back in time to see the Coloseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. We had booked this adventure in early April and were not dues to experience it until late July. Our guide Alejandro was very knowledgable and kept the tour moving at a good pace. I would have given the experince 5 stars if it wasn't for the terrible experience in the 7 days prior to our visit. We booked a 9:15 tour as we have teenagers who are fairskinned and senesative to the sun. This was prior to learning that most of Eurpore was going to have a heat wave like no other with temps soaring to 100 degrees with a "feels like" temp well over 100 degrees. About 7 days prior to our tour I was contacted via text by somone who was not from Headout telling me that our tour was changed to 8:45. I was in the hills of the Chianti region with little to no service. I was trying to respond, I was trying to call Head out support. I couldn't reach our ground transportation to make sure I could still get there.... I finally get it all together (while just about ruining my day out with my extended family) and straightened out only to have them tell me that I can no longer have that time. Now I have been moved to 1:30. Unhappily, we agree, but beg for a morning time slot if possible. I don't understand how this happens when I booked and paid months in advance- they tell me "limited ticket availability". Again, I don't understand this. Four days later I receive an email-- (I am not really checking email on my overseas vacation...) Telling me that due to limited availability, I can no longer have the 1:30 tour, we are now moved to 3:00. After 2 days of calls, texts and emails we are now stuck with the hottest part of the day to tour an open arena and be outdoors, but we have looked forward to this trip for a year. So here we are, counting down the hours hoping that they don't cancel us all together-because, how do I know this won't happen?? We got our tour, it was hot as Hades out there and a real struggle. The stress before it was not worth the experience, sadly. I'm not sure how many months you have to book in advance to be secure in your booking time, but apparently its more than 3 months. I wish you better luck than my family had. Oh and I tried to be a "Karen" and speak to someone in charge, I was NEVER allowed to do so.
