I only used it for the Monastery of St. Jerome, and even then the line was long: almost everyone has a Lisboa Card. I also used it for public transportation, which is excellent. Validity: Before activation, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).
