    Critics Reviews

“Andrew Lloyd Webber's score has a visceral tug more than almost any score written in the past 20 years. Beautiful and romantic, I have to tip my hat: The Phantom of the Opera has aged divinely.”
    – Broadway.Com

“The venerable blockbuster still beats out almost all of the shipper snappers currently on Broadway. Maria Bjornson's flamboyant gothic design and Harold Prince's fantastical staging still have the gleam of finely polished professionalism.”

Phantom is still wonderful and isn't showing its age one bit! The chandelier still falls on cue and the show still rises to the top of all the musicals ever to appear on Broadway. I hope I listen to the music of the night forever! - David Richardson, WOR Radio It may be possible to have a terrible time at The Phantom of the Opera, but you'll have to work at it. Only a terminal prig would let the avalanche of pre-opening publicity poison his enjoyment of this show, which usually wants nothing more than to shower the audience with fantasy and fun, and which often succeeds, at any price.

This story has it all: music that stays with you long after the curtain comes down (yes I bought the CD), love in an array of colors, fantasy, danger, sex, hopes and dreams. The Phantom of the Opera remains a stunning production that engages the ear, the eye and the heart.

Phantom still delivers the goods! Judging by sheer invention, emotional punch and onstage talent, the venerable blockbuster still beats out almost all of the shippersnappers currently on Broadway. Maria Bjornson's flamboyant gothic design and Harold Prince's fantastical staging still have the gleam of finely polished professionalism.

I love myself a good musical and it was a mid-20 dream of mine to see this classic. It finally came true when I found myself in New York one winter evening. I was really excited to find that it was playing at the beautiful Majestic Theatre but was worried that I wouldn’t find tickets at this last minute. Thanks to Headout I was able to fulfill my wish and watch this amazing production and that too from a really nice seat. The ticket booking process was so easy and smooth that it took me no time to book even in my last minute rush.
