Adapted from JP Miller’s film and teleplay, Days of Wine and Roses stars Kelli O’Hara from ‘Sex and the City 2’ and Brian d'Arcy James from ‘She Came to Me'. This new musical brings to life the struggles of a couple battling alcohol addiction in 1950s New York. Witnesses composer and lyricist Adam Guettel teamed up with playwright Craig Lucas in their first collaboration since the acclaimed The Light in the Piazza. The Story
The plot follows Joe and Kirsten, a couple lost in the whirlwind of 1950s New York. As Joe, a public relations executive, introduces his wife Kirsten to social drinking, their lives spiral out of control, leading to personal and professional turmoil. As their love story unfolds, their battle with addiction begins to strain their relationship and their lives.
