From Bucharest: Bran Castle, Peles Castle & Brasov Full-Day Guided Tour with Castles Audio Guide

Overall, I would rate the trip very positively, with the exception of the entrance ticket prices for the castles. The prices offered by the company were two to three times higher than the actual cost of purchasing the tickets directly at the destination. For example, I personally paid €54 for three tickets to Bran Castle, while the company had quoted €240 for the same tickets. Apart from this issue, everything else was excellently organized. The guide provided clear explanations in two languages, and the time allocated for each stop was sufficient to comfortably visit all the destinations included in the itinerary. Overall, I was very satisfied with the organization and quality of the trip.

Overall a good experience, but time management could be improved The day trip was overall a nice experience and a great way to see multiple highlights in a single day. Stopping briefly for 10 minutes at Cantacuzino Castle (the Wednesday filming location) was a fun bonus! However, there are a few things future travelers should be aware of: Castle Entrance Fees: The company charges significantly higher prices for castle tickets compared to buying them on your own. Rushed Schedule: The time allocated at each destination felt quite limited. We only had 1 hour to see Peleș Castle from the outside, 1 hour in Brașov, and 1.5 hours at Bran Castle. It's a convenient option if you want to cover a lot of ground in one day, but be prepared for a fast pace and consider handling your own entrance tickets to save money.

The guide, Alex gave us a good history of Romania, the places visited were very interesting but we needed more time there so disappointing I could not see all I would have liked.

This is a fantastic excursion—you absolutely must go. The beauty of the Carpathian Mountains is unique, and the castles are beyond words. Plan a whole day for the trip, because it lasts twelve hours.

It was nice to see the 3 castles and Brasov. Unfortunately since it was on a Sunday in August there was much traffic and the tickets were sold out to the first castle, which was the one I most wanted to see so choose not to go inside any of them. The whole tour took 12 1/2 hours since we got stock in the traffic jam several times. Best is to go on a Wednesday or a Thursday. Monday and Tuesday some are closed.
