Exciting visit especially for the atmosphere surrounding it, the tour is interesting even though everything shown is born and set to pander to tourists' expectation more related to legend than history. Nice scenic photo opportunities, nice views. Definitely worth a visit but I think there can be much more to Transylvania.

An unforgettable experience to visit Mr. Drakula in his castle. Very well organized and everything, really everything, absolutely worth seeing. We were there at 09:00 and had bought our tickets online. It turned out to be the right decision, we were the first visitors, no jostling, enough time for each room, simply unforgettable.

The castle was wonderful; atmospheric and very interesting. We wanted to slow right down and prolong our stay as much as possible but our bus tour only allowed us two hours which was nothing like enough to fully explore the castle and the grounds. We could have stayed there all day.

    Bran Castle is a fascinating place that feels genuinely medieval from the moment you see it. Sitting high above the valley, it looks exactly like a fortress should: solid, defensive, and slightly intimidating. The location alone explains why it was so important historically. Inside, the castle is surprisingly authentic. The rooms are small, the staircases are narrow, and the layout can feel almost labyrinth-like, which makes the visit engaging rather than staged. The exhibits are clear and informative without being overwhelming, and they help you understand how the castle evolved over time, especially during its period as a royal residence. The Dracula connection is present but kept under control. It adds a bit of atmosphere without turning the visit into a theme park, which is a good balance. You can enjoy the legend while still appreciating the real history behind the walls. One of the highlights is the view from the castle. The surrounding mountains and village scenery make the visit even more memorable and give a strong sense of place. Overall, Bran Castle is well worth the visit. It feels real, well maintained, and respectful of its history. A solid five-star experience for anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply iconic places in Romania.

    I enjoy the mystery and history of the castle—it's well preserved, and the spooky decorations add a nice touch. The exterior feels a bit rustic, though. In comparison, Peles Castle is more impressive from the outside.

    The castle and it's history are exciting and fun to see and learn about. When we arrived it was light, dark when we left. 3:30pm slot was perfect. We were able to feel the dark mystery as well as the history.

    Very few historical exhibits... Nothing to see... and after you pay a rather expensive ticket, you ask for more money to see the torture chamber and the time tunnel :(
