The Leonardo Express made traveling between Fiumicino Airport and Rome Termini Station smooth and stress-free. Purchasing the ticket online was quick and straightforward, and I appreciated the flexibility — I had bought my ticket a day before but was able to take an earlier train without any hassle. The process of changing to an earlier time was easily managed on the spot. The train was clean, comfortable, and punctual. It has luggage space free of charge. It’s a convenient, reliable option for solo or first-time travelers arriving in Rome. It was a bit packed, but still managed to get a seat (free searing). I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fast, direct connection between the airport and city center.

The Leonardo Express was a great way to get to the centre of Rome from Fiunicino airport. I was a little concerned about having to specify exactly what time train we would catch as its difficult to gauge how long it will take to get through passport control and baggage reclaim. Fortunatley the e-ticket booking system allows you to change the time so long as you do it before your booked service has departed. I made use of this feature to catch an earlier train than originally booked. You can buy your ticket on the day at the train station but there were crowds at the ticket machines. I'd use this service again when travelling to Rome.

I love the Leonardo Exoress as it is the most sensible way to travel from Fiumicino . It is also my link to the rest of Europe. 👌My husband and I are Australian and we always used the Leonardo Express to come into Rome city, from the time when we first discovered it, In early 2000s. Rome Termini became like our 'local' railway station to the rest of Europe. Now that Ternini has added so many excellent extra shops/ outlets Food Court Fashionista and multiple food outlets, it is even better for tourists. It is my favourite memory place in Rome.
    • Take the 30-min non-stop train from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station for a direct, no-fuss transfer. It's one of the quickest and easiest ways to get around.

    • Trains depart every 15 mins, offering flexibility for all flight schedules, even for early-morning arrivals or late-night departures.

    • With air conditioning and spacious luggage storage, the ride is comfortable and convenient, whether you’re arriving in Rome or heading out.

    • Traveling with little ones? One child aged 4 to 11 can ride free with a paying adult, making this transfer a convenient and affordable family option.

    • Public transport strikes and traffic jams can be a nightmare, but this train service is unaffected and easier way to travel.

  • These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

The train runs frequently amd from same platform, was clean, punctual and has power outlets to charge e.g. phones. Sufficient seats and space for luggage available. I would rate 5 stars if the ticket was valid all day and not just for dedicated train connection. The train arrived the same time I arrived at the station and had to find out how to change the booking while boarding the train. The tariff seems to always be the same. Why not extending the validity to any connection the same day? This works fine in other cities.

I'm older and found the whole experience very easy, from booking online, ease of entry onto the platform, plenty of room for luggage in each compartment. The train left Rome Termini and arrived at the airport on time. The ride was very smooth and non-stop. It was easy to navigate from the train to the Terminal I needed. Thank you for such a positive experience. Catherine

Although the train before mine was delayed, mine was right on time; I appreciate getting back on schedule. The ride was quick and staff were pleasant. The transfer is at a convenient location for getting out of the airport, into Rome center or to transfer to another train headed to a different location.

I appreciated the punctuality and ease with which I made the tickets online. In contrast, the excessive number of passengers ,the difficulty in finding a seat and the small space of the seats and between a passenger and the one in front, make the trip very uncomfortable.
