Book tickets online a few days in advance, especially for sunset slots, which sell out fastest.

If you’re flexible, book midweek (Tue–Thu) since lines move faster, and staff may allow window choice if cabins aren’t full.

For photos without reflections, ride near dusk and request a cabin with minimal interior lighting; staff usually oblige.

Did you know?

Ain Dubai’s frame used over 11,200 tonnes of steel. That’s about 33% more than the Eiffel Tower. It’s an engineering giant designed to withstand Dubai’s coastal winds while carrying nearly 1,750 passengers at once.

Standing 250 metres tall, Ain Dubai is roughly twice the height of London’s Big Ben. From the top, you can spot landmarks like Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, and even the desert edge on a clear day.

The wheel features 48 high-tech cabins, including VIP and dining pods. Some can host small events, from birthday dinners to mini-corporate meetings, all while slowly revolving above the Arabian Gulf.

Construction began in 2013 and wrapped up in 2021 after multiple engineering milestones. Its delayed debut only built anticipation, by the time it opened, it had already broken five global records.

The steel spokes connecting Ain Dubai’s hub to its rim each weigh around 300 tonnes, roughly the same as a fully loaded Airbus A380.

We took a taxi to Ain Dubai. Around noon, there were no crowds. We bought our tickets online from Headout as a combo ticket. Everything worked out perfectly. Ain Dubai is definitely worth a visit. The Ferris wheel runs very smoothly, and a ride takes about 38 minutes. The view is amazing. The height of 250 meters is not a problem in terms of how it feels. Just do it and enjoy!!!
