I visited the Accademia Gallery and the Uffizi Gallery back to back , each with a different guide,Claudia and Mirella both experiences were truly outstanding. Each guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, bringing the art and history to my life. The pacing was excellent, the explanations were beautifull without being overwhelming, and the storytelling added real depth and context. Thanks to these beautifully presented tours, my appreciation for Renaissance art and Florentine history deepened significantlly

The experience was fantastic! Not only was it quick and easy to make the reservation through the app, but when we arrived at the scheduled time, we were directed to a line with less than four people (the standard line was so long that it stretched around the corner of the museum block). In five minutes or less, we were inside. We had no problems redeeming our tickets at the counter or accessing the exhibition halls. In short, the experience was very good, and I definitely recommend it!

Galya was a terrific guide! Deeply knowledgeable about Michelangelo and his times, she made his David come alive by placing him in several historical contexts - that of the artist's own biography, the political power and domination of Florence by the Medicis, and the history of art. Moreover, she did so with a bit of humor and a great sense of timing and proportion, saving the statue for the end as a kind of culmination with the foregoing commentaries designed to help us see him more clearly!

As I expected there would be long queues, and as I was keen to learn more about Michelangelo’s statue of David, I booked the Accademia Gallery skip-the-line guided tour with Headout in Florence. I was not disappointed. Within minutes, our group was inside, and the information provided was excellent. The earpiece for the guide was particularly useful, allowing me to move slightly away from the group without missing anything. I will certainly book my tours with Headout again in the future.

Getting into the museum is easier if you’ve purchased your ticket online. I felt sorry for those who didn’t have a reservation and had to wait in line. It’s worth noting that you can pick up your ticket at number 51 Via Ricasoli (across from the museum entrance) by presenting your online purchase confirmation. Otherwise, the reason I made the trip, just as I did 16 years ago, is Michelangelo’s David. What a marvel!

Our tour guide was amazing, I didn't catch his name but he was Spanish. His knowledge and passion really impressed us and we learnt so much. Honestly, I can now speak like an expert at dinner parties, even though I have next to zero knowledge about art. Thoroughly recommend the Academia guided tour. Even though the Academia is smaller, I enjoyed this guided tour more than our tour of the Uffizi with a rival company.

Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Despite the crowds, she was able to keep the group together and communciate the importance of the different exhibits. Must see in Florence. David is indescribable. WARNING: Prior to going inside the Academia, BE SURE TO ORGANIZE PERSONAL ITEMS IN A SINGLE BAG. Between handling the ticket (which you MUST keep with you and show multiple times), phone, passport, wallet, ..... and the tour's radio headset, I managed to lose my ticket navigating the security/metal detector section. Here. you will be scanned, your bag will have to get through x-ray ,achine and it comes at you quickly and all at once. With the crowd rushing to get inside, it is receipe for losing something important like I did. Organize it all before you enter the building. Its just like getting on a commercial flight.
