The agent near the museum who assisted us (Brian) was very helpful. Once we found him amidst the crowd near the museum, he informed us where we should hang out until he came to get us for our timed entry. We arrived early so he got us into a time slot 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled one. We also appreciated the woman at the office where we picked up our tickets since she let us wait inside (even though the office was closed for its lunch hour) and then completed our paperwork early as well. Best of all was seeing the magnificent works by Michelangelo as well as the historic musical instruments since the latter weren't part of the Academia's collection the last time we visited Florence. Finally, we learned a great deal from a guide about another Florentine sculpture whose impressive works filled another gallery. All and all we had an excellent visit and our advance entry tickets purchased through Headout made everything work out very well.

After meeting with the host at the agreed upon time, we received the tickets for the booked timeslot, and were asked to wait at a long line at security which frightened us a little but, once it started, everything went very smoothly and we waited only around 5 minutes. A useful information would be to always chech which timeslot the line you are waiting at is for, because there were several lines both in different directions and also parallel to eachother, each for its own timeslot and it was easy to get confused.

Easy access at 10.45AM quickly processed. Very efficient and layout is super easy to navigate at your own pace. Exhibits very well labelled with good information. Lighting on exhibits first class compared with the Uffizi museum where lighting is awful with a lot of glare often making it difficult to see the detail in the artwork. Very efficient well laid out and never pressured to move on. Great museum

I bought the tickets from home, comfortably and in advance; payment via the app was super fast and smooth. On the day of our visit to the Accademia Gallery, at the scheduled time we showed our vouchers at the ticket office, exchanged them for tickets, and walked right in without any hassle. If you did not plan a month in advance to see David, then this is the solution. They meet you near the entrance line. They walk you to the entrance line, based on your timed entrance. They offer software to download to listen to the museum audio info. They charge for the service. If it is last week decision to see David, this or similar is you best or only option. Enjoy.

The tour was delayed due to the museum running behind. The tour guide was AMAZING in educating the group about the artist and the works, as well as some local history. Several people in the group had to return to their tour groups for early departure. The guide made sure to hit the major pieces first so we wouldn't miss out. It was so appreciated!!

My husband and I bought tickets 2 days before we wanted to go to the Accademia Museum. I should have planned better, as the tickets were 41 Euro each I believe. But we didn't wanted to miss seeing David. Finding help to understand what line to get into was very easy...and we discovered that we needed to go get our physical tickets first (just down the road a bit). Once we got in (time in line was about 10-15 minutes later than our entry time), we had an audio guide on my phone that explained the important pieces we shouldn't miss. David was in the 2nd room and he did not disappoint!! Great opportunity , but a bit overpriced for how small the museum is. We went to the Louvre last year and those tickets were significantly cheaper and a much larger museum.

Getting in was not complicated. For those unable to print tickets, the office was very close by. The payment process allowed me to pay when it suited me which was helpful. The instructions provided on the day were clear and easy to follow. Having a timed entry also saved queueing up for long periods of time which is important when it's hot.

The ticket allowed me to use a shorter line (red point) and in just 15 minutes I managed to enter the museum. I found the tickets on Headout when they were already sold out on the official website of the Accademia. A small surcharge, but a great experience.
