It was beyond my dreams. Absolutely stunning. No Wonder Queen Elizabeth loved it, it's so beautiful. Also to be right in the heart of the town makes it extra special. We met an ex electrician who used to work at the castle and his eyrs lit up talking about his job. He often met Her Majesty when she was out riding or just walking around and she never failed to wish him good day. Walking around especially in the quad and in the Chapel involved in all events I have seen made me even more proud to be British. What a truly wonderful "memorial" to our history. A fabulous day, thank you to all involved in keeping the castle safe 🤗

The visit to Windsor Castle was an unforgettable and enriching experience. It is one of the oldest inhabited castles still in use in the world, something I had never had the opportunity to experience before. During the visit, I explored the luxurious State Apartments, decorated with valuable works of art and exquisite furniture. I also visited St George’s Chapel, a place of great beauty and historical significance, where several monarchs are buried. The presence of the Portuguese queen Catherine of Braganza, connected to the English monarchy through her marriage to Charles II of England, was a pleasant surprise.

The depth of history held within the walls and halls of Windsor castle is simply astonishing. In particular I learnt a whole new depth of understanding of the 24 knights of the Garter and sumptous culture held in every room. Although the History starts only from the 11th Century, it is very relevant to the UK, and the world today. St George's influence and inspiration is everywhere, and my interest in him has been kindled, and I plan to build on that with my own research and respect. A wonderful afternoon of awe and reverence for the Monarchy, and History. Ray McLennan

Visiting Windsor Castle was a truly majestic experience that brought British history to life. Walking through the State Apartments and St. George's Chapel felt like stepping back in time, with breathtaking architecture and royal treasures at every turn. It’s an unforgettable glimpse into the world's oldest and largest occupied castle.

There were enough staff members on hand to assist you at all times or answer your questions. One drawback is that if you’ve purchased tickets online, you still have to have them scanned at the ticket counter or reception desk. If this weren’t necessary, it would save time for both visitors and staff.
