Well organised and a great experience

Took my partner for her bday and wow, just wow. Saw 3 whales in the first half hour, didn’t expect that. Boat was clean and the crew kept joking around, which made it relaxed. Weather was chilly but we grabbed the dungarees they offered (life saver, trust me). Coffee from the tiny cafe was actually decent (not always the case on boats, haha). Only complaint: crowded on the top deck during whale sightings, but we managed to squeeze in for a few pics. 2.5 hours zipped by. Would happily do it again.

Went solo cause friends bailed last min...but honestly didn’t feel weird at all. Crew was suuuper friendly, kept chatting with everyone so I never felt awkward. Saw a couple of humpbacks, loads of seabirds. Bring gloves!!! My fingers were popsicles even w/ the free overalls. Only downside—too many peeps crowding one side whenever the guide yelled ‘whale!’. Still, worth the price.

We took our two kids (8 and 11) and I was kinda nervous they’d get bored but NOPE. Guide kept them entertained with stories about the whales and even let them help spot birds. Highlight was when a whale tail SLAPPED the water right in front of us. Boat was warm inside, hot choc was a hit. Only thing: wish the trip was a bit longer, time flew.

Whale watching was on my bucket list forever and this did NOT disappoint. Got lucky with clear skies, saw two massive whales and a seal just lounging around. Sat on the lower deck for a bit—good views but windows had some algae so pics weren’t the clearest. Still, being outside was better for photos anyway. Staff knew their stuff.
