This experience was even better than I could have imagined. The spa ritual was so relaxing and the attention to detail in all the aesthetic made it even better. The ambiance encourages relaxation and rejuvenation. All the senses were heightened and we came out feeling rested.

Visiting Hvammsvik yesterday was a massive highlight of our time in Iceland. The setup of the different temperature pools right on the edge of the ocean is spectacular! You get the amazing contrast of the hot geothermal water and the crisp sea air. The facilities are very clean, the staff is welcoming, and the vibe is purely relaxing. It’s absolutely worth the drive out from Reykjavík. Highly recommend

One of the most beautiful places I got the pleasure to experience. The views were fantastic and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it. I want to come back.

I liked the location by the lake, the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the fact that you could order drinks right by the pool.

Great baths. Wasn't over crowded, but it is touristy (everyone seemed to speak a language other than Icelandic). The lake at this time of year is partially frozen still but very lovely to see. The hot springs is fresh water and I felt was better for the skin. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
