25 years of marriage meets 1,000 years of history Visiting Westminster Abbey after 25 years was a profoundly moving experience. On our first visit, my wife and I were just starting our journey together as newlyweds. Returning now with our grown children to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary felt like a beautiful tribute to our own history, set against the backdrop of over a millennium of English heritage. Standing in a place that has witnessed over 1,000 years of coronations, weddings, and history is truly humbling. Our children were fascinated by the layers of time preserved within these walls. It was the perfect place to reflect on the passing of time and the enduring strength of vows. Just as it did a quarter-century ago, the Abbey left us in absolute awe. A deeply spiritual and historic highlight of our family trip to London. Jacek from Poland

No trouble getting into St. Paul’s Cathedral—an impressive church where the organ was even playing. The climb up to the dome was indeed exhausting, even though I’m in good shape. The steps, which are very flat at first, continue all the way to the top as a continuous spiral staircase. It makes you dizzy. The view, however, is worth it! Unfortunately, even with a ticket, there was no way to avoid the line at the entrance to Westminster Abbey. The Abbey was packed with people, and you’re guided through the crowd. A church that struck me as strange, yet impressive, if only because of its significance. A must-see.

The tour was very good, the tour guide new his stuff. The only bad point was we got to the gift shop at 09:00 as instructed in the email but no guide waiting for us, a few more tourists turned up 09:30 still no guide, 09:45 we were just about to walk away when 4 more tourists turned up I got talking to them and they informed us that they had a email 2 days earlier saying the tour had been delayed by an hour. It would of been nice if we had been informed about the delay.

Yesterday
A beautiful Abbey with excellent service; even when the Head Out tickets turned out to be vouchers, the cashier didn’t make a fuss and exchanged them for tickets. The multimedia presentation was very informative, as it clearly explained the family tree of all the kings and queens and how it relates to the statues and sights inside the Abbey.

I absolutely loved visiting Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral. Both places are breathtaking, full of history, and incredibly inspiring. The atmosphere, the stunning architecture, and the beautiful details made the experience unforgettable. Climbing the dome at St Paul’s was an amazing highlight. Truly a must‑see!

Was all amazing! The granduour and history spectacular. The queue was a bit long 45 minute wait. Worth it but certainly not for a major group of citizens that would also enjoy the Abby. I realize you buy a pass to the front of the line not everyone has those financial resources.

Westminster Abbey—what a beautiful building, both inside and out. It’s very impressive to see everything there is to see. You can follow along with the audio guide via headphones, though it can be a bit confusing at times. Photography is permitted.

Even though we had booked a specific time slot (9:30 a.m.), we had to wait in a long line in the cold for over thirty minutes (incidentally, my wife was using two walking canes because she has a severe limp, but no one gave us priority, unlike what normally happens, for example, at airports). Furthermore, there was a second line where people were allowed to enter without waiting in line, and although I asked why, I received no answer. Pietro Curzio
