The Vatican guided tour was honestly the best thing we did on our trip to Rome. Our English-speaking guide, Hillary, was absolutely fantastic. She had so much knowledge and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and really brought the history and artwork to life. You could tell she was passionate about what she was talking about, and she shared so many interesting details that we definitely would have missed if we were exploring on our own. It made the whole experience so much more meaningful and enjoyable. This tour truly made our trip to Rome even more amazing. I would 10000% recommend it to anyone visiting the Vatican!

An honest to God 11/10 experience, it was easily one of the coolest days of my life. I can't lie at first I was very stressed out about the whole trip from what I had seen online. But after we got through the first line of ticket checks (which wasn't long due to the slip the line pass) all my stress was relieved and I witnessed the most beautiful art and architecture I had ever seen. DO NOT PASS UO THE OPPORTUNITY! I would recommend this trip and this service to anyone!

The museum and the Sistine Chapel were the highlight of our visit to Rome! This was also thanks to our wonderful guide Doris, who provided us with lots of information and background knowledge and guided us confidently through the rather crowded rooms! A heartfelt thank you for that! Everything was perfectly organized, and despite the rain and the long line, the wait was pleasantly short! Highly recommended!

Almost everthing from the start the explanation for the michael angelos painting before entering is more nicer so when we were there we are just enjoying all the paintings as its been explained well by our tourist guide is too many to remember but mostly we did remember the explanations.. we love all the ceiling and we really enjoyed everything and i hope we can go back again and bring our children for next time around. Thank you....

Pleasant guide, beautiful tour of the Sistine Chapel, but I had booked Raphael's rooms and we didn't go there...😡why, when I paid for this option? On the other hand, St. Peter's was not included in my ticket and she told me that no, we were scheduled to go there, so we followed... I am really disappointed that I didn't get to see the rooms and the Hall of the Signature.

We saw so much on this 3 hour tour but he did a great job of highlighting the real noteworthy aspects and held the group together throughout. Highly recommend the full tour as both the museum and the basilica are spectacular.

Fred, our tour guide was the key. The right person wtih real knowledge and understanding of the time, culture, and history of the Vatican museums makes all the difference. There is so much to see it is impossible to take it all in. Having a guild to point out the best makes it real. We opted for the Basilica package as well and again worth it for the extra knowledge.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

When in Sistine Chapel, silence is mandatory and photography is prohibited. Guides will provide all necessary and interesting details before entry.

Photography and the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Power banks are strictly prohibited inside the venue.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

While the tour is not accessible, the Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion.

Please note: All guests must pass through airport-style security. During high season and peak hours, the wait time at the security check may be up to 30 minutes.

Purchasing this tour implies an agreement to stick with the assigned guide, without whom you cannot access the Vatican Museums. Opting out or missing the tour means losing ticket rights, without refunds.

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies. Additionally, entrance to St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures.

The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.

Note: Michelangelo’s Last Judgement will undergo maintenance until March 2026. While the Sistine Chapel remains open, views of the fresco may be partially obstructed by the scaffolding.
