Valentine's Day in Rome

A lot of walking but very nice experience! Normally crowded. Gardens with nice benches for rests and cafeteria. Toilets available.

It was really helpful to skip the endless line for people without tickets, like us. Before we went in, the staff gave us directions to the designated area. The wait was 10 minutes at most—very efficient. The museum experience was unforgettable and unique. It would take more time to see everything, but it was worth it. It was moving to see Pope John Paul II’s car. Greetings, Mario.

A very friendly guide who led us calmly and leisurely through the crowds and casually explained the history and background. I highly recommend it—on your own, you’d run out of energy waiting in those long lines.

It was a wonderful tour, mainly due to our fantastic guide, Fransico. His knowledge about the Vatican Museum, the sisten Chanel, Michelangelo, the history of Rome, and all the other stories he could tell made it a perfect day and all worth while. We certainly got value for our money.

It was an amazing tour. The tour guide was very informative and helped to provided historical context to the artwork and sculptures.

Highly recommended. The guided tour went really well. Our guide, Severus, was very attentive, gave very detailed explanations, and took us to all the “special” spots in the Palatine Hill and the Colosseum. Top-notch!!!!

The gallery was absolutely beautiful! The works of art, notably those in stone, were beyond description and picture. Standing before the sculptures, you 'felt' the presence of the subjects. What made the visit especially wonderful was our guide, Dimitri. He not only knew the works and their artists, but he was clearly passionate about the subject. This was my second visit to Galleria Villa Borghese, but hopefully not my last. One of the greatest attractions in Rome, in my opinion.
