This is my second visit to the Vatican Museums, and our guide, Marinella, was fantastic! Her explanations of the art and history all around us made us appreciate the beauty of the museums ten times more! A special shout-out to Marinella, who even got the kids excited—there were several in the group—and kept them curious and engaged throughout the tour (after two and a half hours of the guided tour, they wanted to explore the remaining areas just as she had recommended!) The skip-the-line option included with the guided tour was convenient, and as always, everything was super organized and punctual!

Actually, to begin with the tour guide Gabriella, she explained all essential information and events about vatican history and provided different and special perspective by pointing out details, illustrations and stories of sculptures, arts, and artist Michalengo which is master of Renaissance period in Europe. She also highlighted dome in the Pantheon and Florence which affects the shape of Vatican City as well. She is good teacher and flawless tour guide.

The guide Elizabeth was also very proficient and kind. The only thing was, we wished we could have spent more time admiring the various rooms instead of being driven like lambs. Our tour guide Jessica was amazing. An archeologist by trainng she provided excllent insight. We had small children with us and she could not have been nicer. Additionally we had bit of a hiccup at the start as we had the wrong time and they made sure it was all ironed out. Would highly recommend

Just a short train ride from Rome's Termini station, Castel Gondolfo & the quaint village surrounding it is worth the time. The Castel is filled with history and expertly presented. The grounds are spectacular. Several lovely shops, artisans & restaurants available to round out you time there.
