This was our 3rd visit to Uffizi and our best. We went in the earliest time slot so it wasn't too busy. Also we loved the terrace on the 3rd floor and enjoyed cappuccinos with the lovely setting and view. I would not waste $$ on headphones - very limited and not too informative. Instead ask chatGPT to prepare an itinerary for you based on how long you plan to visit. Ciao!

Myself and my friend had a great tour of Academia. It was concentrated on the history of Michelangelo given it was only an hour duration but we enjoyed that and understanding this amazing artist in more detail and centring around the build of David. I recall it was Vera who was our guide in English. She was very good and could be clearly understood. Still left us the opportunity to explore the valley further after the tour.Calota

We were able to quickly pickup the tickets and they told us where to enter. Our tickets were a timed entry self-tour and they were "skip the line." - Every first Sunday of the month, the museum follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.
- All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the museum entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.
