Fantastic place with loads of great art. Extremely crowded but that was not surprising really. Was easy using headout. Guy with tickets was easy to find and it did mean we could head straight in with just a brief security check. Michaelangelo's David is fantastic and so glad I've seen the real thing.James

Most impressive was the fact that with all the tourists there that day we were still able to get in an hour earlier than our tickets stated. We were impressed how well the crowds moved throughout the museum. We were able to see everything and it was tremendous, as anticipated. The The staff, when asked questions in English, were always accommodating, friendly and knowledgeableKathy

We were able to quickly pickup the tickets and they told us where to enter. Our tickets were a timed entry self-tour and they were "skip the line." We didn't have a lot of time in Florence, not standing in a long entry line was very beneficial. The ponte vecchio is right in front of the museum. FYI, the line to see David inside is long. David was the main attraction we wanted to see. It was very touristy as all of Florence is & very confusing to get in by ourselves. purchasing the guided tour made it very easy as they acquired our tickets for us, led us with a group inside, and made the process simple. We did lose the group inside as it was a bit chaotic withthe amount of people at the museums first room & we roamerd around by ourselves after the security checkpoint. Well worth the price for the convenience over the non-reservation line.
