I always wanted to book into a lounge and as I had a 6 hour layover I thought why not do it in Heathrow I was met at the desk and asked for my booking.I found the team member to very stand offish and not welcoming Wasn't the experience I was expecting

I was soooo pleased that we booked the lounge, people were attempting to pay without booking in advance, it was FULL.. loved the food choices, wines were acceptable

We were happy with the service, quality and variety of complementary food and drinks and the overall ambiance. The tables and seating arrangements were a bit crowded and the toilets a bit small (aircraft size). Are the number limited to prebooked visitors or are walk ins allowed - presumably resevered accommodation is for prebookings. A designatied area for luggage should be provided as, with the increase in carrry on luggage, this causes some inconvenience when stored next to chairs and tables.

Faced with a 5-hour delay at Heathrow, we booked online and then checked into the lounge. We did notice that it was quite busy and that a lot of people who had walked in didn't even have a seat. I do feel that, although we had an allocated seat because we had pre-booked, there were a lot of disgruntled people in the lounge. Some were standing and eating. I feel like you'd taken advantage of a lot of delays that day by packing out the lounge, and that's not the purpose of the lounge. It should be a bit quieter, more tranquil, and more spacious. While I had a very comfy wait and, thankfully, it wasn't a whole 5-hour delay in the end, I think it was rather overcrowded. And one toilet cubicle was rather dirty during two visits that I made over a couple of hours, so the toilets hadn't been checked.

I've used the Heathrow Express before and as it was my last trip it was very convenient. Train came quickly and arrived in Paddington without a problem. Wish my flight into Heathrow had been the same!
