It was ok, at times QR code was not readable and so a small ticket was issued to pass through the gates. Would have been good to have the option of a physical ticket too.

In almost all cases, the transfer went smoothly. Occasionally—probably due to connection issues with my smartphone—I was unable to check out of the subway zone. The staff was always helpful and made a real effort to respond in English. I would definitely use this ticket again!

What’s not allowed

Press the “Start Use” button before scanning the QR code at the ticket gate.

The ticket becomes valid from the first gate entry and is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours depending on the option selected.

Tickets must be used on the smartphone device where the QR code is stored. If the device cannot display the ticket (for example due to battery depletion), regular fare will be required.

Multiple tickets purchased in one transaction can be distributed to other smartphone devices before first use so passengers can travel separately.

Refunds are available only before starting use and within the validity period, with a ¥220 handling fee per transaction.
