We had an amazing time visiting teamLab Tokyo with our family! It was such a fun and memorable experience for everyone, especially the children. The interactive activities were fantastic and made the visit much more exciting than a typical museum experience. We loved walking through the beautiful light displays, exploring the colorful digital worlds, and watching the artwork change as we interacted with it. There were so many different areas to discover, and each one offered something unique and entertaining. The kids had a wonderful time playing, exploring, and getting involved in the activities, while we enjoyed taking photos and experiencing the creativity together as a family. The combination of technology, art, music, and interactive experiences was truly impressive. It was a great way to spend quality family time, and everyone left with happy memories. I would definitely recommend teamLab Tokyo to families visiting Tokyo—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

Our visit to the Planet Team Lab as a family—mom, dad, and two kids (ages 8 and 17)—was outstanding. We had miscalculated the time due to the time difference, but were then allowed to go in with the next group. The individual themed areas were impressive and captivating, like being in a dream world. All the worlds were very well coordinated, and we were guided and assisted by very friendly staff. It was like a dream and a magnificent experience that we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone! The small bar at the end of the garden behind the café, with its glowing drinks served in a private room, isn’t cheap but is highly recommended!

Our visit to teamLab Planets Tokyo was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. Every room offered a unique combination of lights, colors, sounds, and interactive art that made us feel like we were part of the exhibition. Walking through the water, mirrored spaces, and immersive installations was an unforgettable experience. The visual effects were breathtaking, and every area was beautifully designed, making it impossible to stop taking photos and videos. The entire experience was fun, relaxing, and surprisingly emotional at times. Everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. If you are traveling to Tokyo, this is a place you simply cannot miss. We had an amazing time from beginning to end and would happily visit again. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

Amazing experience at teamLab Planets! The immersive digital art installations were absolutely incredible—beautiful, unique, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Every room was thoughtfully designed, and the combination of lights, colors, sounds, and interactive art made the visit truly unforgettable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Tokyo! TeamLabs Planets was brilliant! An immersive experience, playing with all your senses and putting you through some fun challenges. Nothing too serious! 😊 Great for all ages. I created the butterfly in the photo ... I have no creative sense whatsoever ever ... fly little butterly, fly .... 😁

Nice experience, especially with water and flowers. Not so much with little people as it is for smaller kids. Problems with entering - even though we had tickets with time period (4.30-6.30) they let us in at 6.30.

Special were the light strings. That was so well made. And the fact that is was busy in a way you still could enjoy all art if you were alone. Very nice so much fun. I stayed 1.5 hour and was worth every min.

Arrive at teamLab Planets TOKYO near the main entrance, where staff will guide you through ticket validation and a brief security check. Lockers are available for small items, and guests are encouraged to wear pants due to mirrored surfaces in some areas.

What to expect

This contemporary museum spans over 10,000 square meters, offering a multi-sensory journey through large-scale digital artworks. Each space is designed to engage all five senses, making you an active participant in the art.

What to bring

Wear pants to avoid reflections on mirrored floors. Skirts and wide-legged clothing are not recommended.

Clothes may get wet. Bring a change of clothes or wear quick-dry clothing, especially for children.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, food and beverages, and sharp objects are not permitted inside the exhibition.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the venue.

Pets, including guide dogs, are not allowed.

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Accessibility

Strollers must be left in the designated area before entering. Baby carriers are permitted inside the exhibition.

Guests with wheelchairs will be requested to transfer to the venue's available wheelchairs once inside. The number of available wheelchairs is limited. These wheelchairs are standard models without fastening devices.

This experience is not recommended for visitors with light sensitivity, back issues, or cardiac conditions. Some areas of the venue are not accessible to pregnant women.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
