Important information

• Eligibility: The BritRail Pass is exclusively for non-UK residents.

• Local transport: The pass is not valid on London Underground trains, buses, boats, or hovercraft.

• Non-National Rail: The pass is not valid on any services that are not run by National Rail.

• Luggage limits: You may not carry more than three items of personal luggage free of charge.

• Reservations: Seat reservation fees are not included in your pass and must be paid separately.

Accessibility

• Wheelchair & stroller access: The trains and services included with this pass are stroller and wheelchair-accessible.

Additional information

• Child policy 5-15: Every full paying adult or senior can take one child aged 5 to 15 for free.

• Class availability: Many local trains offer only Second Class accommodation.

• Overnight trains: For sleeper trains, you must enter the next day’s date on your pass.

• Night trains: Reservations are compulsory on night trains and will incur additional fees.

• Service disruption: Validated passes will be extended for days when no train service operates.

• Voucher validity: Your voucher is valid for 334 days from the booking confirmation date.

• Validation window: You must validate your pass within 11 months of purchase.

• M-Pass refunds: The M-Pass is non-refundable once it has been activated.

• Lost tickets: Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be refunded.

• Luggage allowance: You may take up to three items of personal luggage free of charge.

• Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

• Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
