Your BritRail Europe FlexiPass can be used on key London Airport Link services, which connect major airports with central rail stations. This lets you start or end your travel days with direct train links between plane and city.

Features

Board Heathrow Express trains between Heathrow Airport and central London using your pass on a valid travel day, so you do not need a separate ticket for this link.

Use Gatwick Express trains between Gatwick Airport and the city on days when your pass is active, integrating your airport transfer into your rail travel.

Travel on Stansted Express trains between Stansted Airport and London with your pass, keeping airport connections within the same flexible rail system.

Overnight sleeper services

What to expect

The pass is valid on selected overnight services, letting you cover long distances at night and arrive ready to explore in the morning. This can help you make efficient use of your chosen travel days.

Use the Caledonian Sleeper with your BritRail Europe FlexiPass on a valid date, combining overnight accommodation and long-distance rail travel in one journey.

Travel on the Night Riviera Sleeper using your pass on eligible nights, so you can move across Great Britain while you rest.

If you travel on an overnight train with sleeper accommodation, the next day’s date must be inserted on your pass, so you account for the full duration of the journey.

What’s not allowed

Eurostar and metros: You cannot use this pass on Eurostar, Tyne and Wear Metro, Glasgow Underground, or Manchester Metro Link.

Local city links: You cannot use this pass on road links between airports and rail stations or on Docklands Light Railway.

Trams and private lines: You cannot use this pass on tram links, privately owned railways, or steam services.

London transport: You cannot use this pass on London Underground trains, buses, boats, or hovercraft.

Non‑National Rail: You cannot use this pass on any service that is not run by National Rail.

Accessibility

Mobility access: The pass is valid with strollers and wheelchairs on eligible services.

Additional information

Child policy 0 to 4 yrs: Children aged 0 to 4 travel for free with a passholder.

Child policy 5 to 15 yrs: One child aged 5 to 15 travels free per full paying adult or senior, with 50% off for extra children.

Eligibility: The pass is available only to residents of Europe, excluding the United Kingdom.

Residency proof: You must prove at least 6 months of residency with government‑issued documents.

Voucher validity: Your voucher is valid for 334 days from the booking confirmation date.

Pass validation window: You must validate your pass within 11 months of the purchase date.

Activation times: Passes are valid from 00:00 to 24:00 on each chosen travel day.

Overnight trains: If you use a sleeper train, you must enter the next day’s date on your pass.

Reservation rules: Reservations are only compulsory on night trains and require extra fees.

Luggage allowance: You may carry up to three items of personal luggage free of charge.

Refund before redemption: You receive 85% of the pass value if you cancel before redeeming the voucher.

M‑Pass refund rule: The mobile pass is non‑refundable once it has been activated.

Lost or damaged pass: Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be refunded.
