Activate your BritRail England Consecutive Pass online once you know your travel dates, then download your M-Pass to your phone. On your chosen days, your pass is valid from 00:00 to 24:00, ready to be scanned at ticket barriers or shown to staff before boarding.

This pass is your flexible ticket to travel the National Rail network across England using regular train services. You choose your pass validity at checkout, with options for 3, 4, 8, 15, 22 consecutive days or 1 month. During your chosen period, you can plan as many point-to-point journeys as you like within England.

Benefit from BritRail 2FOR1 attraction discounts, using your BritRail Pass to access discounted entry offers at selected British attractions during the dates your pass is valid.

Choose among pass validity options of 3, 4, 8, 15, 22 consecutive days or 1 month, and align your selection with the length of your stay so every day on the pass can be used for actual travel.

Seat reservation fees are not included in the BritRail England Consecutive Pass and must be paid separately if you choose to reserve. Your pass is not valid on Eurostar, the Tyne and Wear Metro, Manchester Metro Link, Docklands Light Railway, tram links, privately owned or steam railways, London Underground trains and buses, boats, hovercraft, or any other services not run by National Rail.

What’s not allowed

Eurostar and metros: Do not use this pass on Eurostar, Tyne and Wear Metro, or Manchester Metrolink services.

Non‑National Rail: Do not use this pass on DLR, tram links, privately owned railways, or steam services.

Local London transport: Do not use this pass on London Underground trains, buses, boats, or hovercraft.

Airport road links: Do not use this pass on any road links between airports and railway stations.

Other operators: Do not use this pass on any services that are not run by National Rail."

Child policy: Children aged 0 to 4 travel free with no pass required.

Kids travel free: One child aged 5 to 15 travels free with each full paying adult or senior.

Extra children: Any additional children aged 5 to 15 receive a 50% discount on their ticket.

Eligibility: This pass is available only to non‑UK residents.

Residency rule: Residency is defined as a 6‑month stay proved by passports, visas, or residence cards.

Details at checkout: Enter correct residency and passport details at checkout, as they are printed on the pass.

Dual residency: If you have lived 6+ months in a country other than your passport country, you may choose either as residence.

Voucher validity: Your electronic voucher is valid for 334 days from booking and expires at 23:59 on the last day.

Pass validation window: You must validate your pass within 11 months of the purchase date.

Service suspension: If your validated pass covers days with no train service, it will be extended by the same number of days.

Luggage allowance: You may carry two large items and one small hand item free of charge.

Extra luggage: Excess or bulky luggage may be carried subject to space availability and extra charges.

Overnight trains: If you use a sleeper train, you must enter the next day’s date on your pass.

Daily validity: BritRail Passes are valid from 00:00 to 24:00 on each chosen travel day.

Seat reservations: Reservations are not compulsory in Great Britain except on night trains.

Reservation fees: Any seat reservations you choose to make will incur additional fees.

How to reserve: You can reserve seats on the train carrier’s website or at any National Rail ticket office.

Refund before activation: An 85% refund applies to cancellations made before your voucher is redeemed.

Refund window: Refunds apply to non‑activated regular passes within 1 year from purchase.

M‑Pass refund rule: The mobile BritRail M‑Pass is non‑refundable once you click "Activate" on the activation site.

Lost or damaged passes: Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be refunded.

Voucher delivery: An electronic voucher will be emailed to you within 24 hours of booking confirmation.

Activation requirement: You cannot travel with the voucher alone, you must activate the pass before boarding.

Activation process: Use each activation link in your voucher to select travel dates and complete check‑in.

M‑Pass issuance: After successful activation, you will receive your M‑Pass by email for download.

Travel day use: On travel days, present your M‑Pass at ticket barriers with barcode readers or to station or train staff.

Post‑activation changes: You cannot refund or change the pass after it has been activated.

Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted: A validated BritRail Pass is valid on Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted Express trains.
