We toured with Nick. Everything about this tour went smoothly from the ear-piece microphones which made hearing him very easy to our meeting with a Yeoman warder. A lovely experience with wonderful history from Nick. Nick even gave us some ideas of additional things we could stick around for and do afterwards. Excellent all the way around.

Our tour was very well organized, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made it enjoyable. He kept it at a pace which worked for everyone. And the hearing devices provided were very good, the range and quality of sound was excellent.

A complete tour of the Tower with an expert and friendly guide who showed us all the different rooms. Finally, we met a Beefeater and took a souvenir photo with him. Among the most gruesome parts, we saw the window where Henry V was killed and where the princes’ bones were found in the Tower, as well as the site where executions took place. The room displaying the suits of armor belonging to various kings—including the one that belonged to Henry VIII—was particularly interesting.

The tour guide Fia from "The Tour Guy" was fabulous, well informed and entertaining and the Thames River cruise was a pleasant ride However the meet up information from HeasOut was inaccurate pointing us to the wrong side of a building without visual proximity of the actual meeting location - Fortunateky a security guard saw us waiting end suggested we walk around the building to the other side where he more commonly observed people meeting tours

Wonderful tour experience. We received great information from our guide before being turned over to our Beefeater. He was fantastic! I definitely recommend this early access tour since there were far fewer people than later in the day.

Day out for the grandchildren. Very expensive to say the least. Good guide with a sense of humour. Nice to meet others from far afeild. We travelled by train and were told we could get a discount if we showed our train tickets. No chance. We were offered a 10.00 start with no alternatives meaning a very early start and a long journey. How about a flexible alternative.

What’s not allowed

Photography is allowed in most areas, except the Jewel House and the Chapel of St. John.

Luggage, large bags, tripods, selfie sticks, and other photographic or recording equipment are not allowed in this experience.

Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed.

This experience is partially wheelchair- and pram/stroller accessible.

Complimentary adult carer/companion tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of proof of supporting documents (such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter) at the Ticket Office.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Your ticket is valid for one entry only. No re-entry is permitted.

Some Beefeater meet-and-greets take place outside the King’s House, a restricted area normally off-limits to the public.

The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately 1.15 to 2.5 hours, after which you may explore the Tower at your own pace.

You’ll meet a tour host at the start of the experience, who will guide you to the Tower’s gates. There, you’ll be introduced to your Beefeater guide, who will lead you into the Tower of London after it has closed to the public.
