FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5It was great. Very friendly people and guards. The coffee at the tower was bad and we had to wait long to get it. But the site made it all okay. I was marvelled by the crown jewels, finally understand why so many (old) stories and movies are about stealing them. I'm so glad we made this trip. Tower bridge was great as well. It looks very nice, but the main thing for me was the more modern day glass floor where you could see the trafic beneath you. Scary for some but I like itTTracy L
SoloVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5I'm a history geek, so will always love historical buildings and the Tower delivered. It was a shame the bridge was closed on my chosen day to visit, due to the heatwave, but I got to walk across and see it's beautiful design. It was all really easy to book with Headout and easy to obtain a refund due to the closer, so really pleased with the service.LLea B
GroupVerified bookingLast week5/5At the Tower of London, I really liked the way the exhibits were designed. They were very varied and exciting to explore. The informational texts were insightful and informative, but not too detailed, so it was a pleasure to read through them. At Tower Bridge, I especially liked the small information panels in the stairwells; they provided details about, for example, the height, width, or the number of liters of paint needed to breathe new life into Tower Bridge. I also especially liked how the information was presented in the glass-enclosed walkways, which offered a wonderful view. My absolute highlight was the glass floor you could walk across, which made you feel like you were walking right over the Thames.RRuth S
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5What an absolutely amazing experience! We started at 9am at London Tower, straight to the Crown Jewels and no waiting lines! Spent a few hours seeing all the things then jumped on the ferry to the London Eye. The ferry captain gave an entertaining and informative talk which we enjoyed greatly, even tipped him! Then onto the London Eye at 2:30pm. There was a daunting line up but we were whooshed through onto the fast line and didn't wait long at all. Absolutely stunning and impressive views of London in all of her beauty. I highly recommend this trio of things to do and this ticket is great value! Our tour was charging a fair bit more for the same experience and less time! Thanks team, it was amazing!SSylvia H
FamilyVerified booking2 days ago4/5We were in London on July 28 and booked tickets for the Tower of London and the London Eye. The Tower was great and everything went smoothly. The London Eye experience was absolutely poorly organized. I booked a specific time slot and paid extra for it.First, you have to go into a building to check in with your QR code, and then stand in a really long line. The time slot is mandatory. I wouldn’t do that again. We got there pretty early and there were hardly any people there—it would have been much easier without a time slot.
Visit two historic royal residences, the Tower of London and Kensington Palace, with one cost-effective combo ticket.
Tower of London
Visit the primary seat and center of the British Monarchy. As the primary residence of royalty and setting for key events in the early history of Europe, a tour of the Tower of London is an experience filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and even a little horror. Once you enter, you are allowed to explore the castle grounds independently for however long you wish until closing time. You will be able to experience and explore all the parts of the castle. This includes the White Tower, the first part of the Castle built by William the Conqueror, which houses displays from the Royal Armouries’ collection today.
Finally, the tour also includes the opportunity to see the Crown Jewels, a display of the wealth and splendor of the British Crown. Apart from these experiences, you will get to see live historical re-enactments and other exhibitions like 'Coins & Kings' and 'Line of Kings'.
Kensington Palace
London’s Kensington Palace is a royal residence with a lot of stories, secrets, and history attached to it. You’ll require around an hour and a half to get a good look at the spectacular palace apartments and explore the ‘Victoria Revealed’ exhibition (Victoria: A Royal Childhood only), displaying an array of Queen Victoria’s personal objects where she once resided. Victoria: A Royal Childhood offers intricate details on her childhood and adolescence.
Discover the magnificently-done state apartments that reveal the lifestyle of its resident royals, including the likes of Mary II, William III, Queen Anne, and her son William, the last ruling member of the Stuart dynasty. Learn more about their consequential lives and dive deep into some of their agonizing secrets. Gaze at the masterpieces of architect and painter William Kent as you enter the Cupola Room and climb the King’s Grand Staircase.
