Picking up our tickets at the Doge’s Palace went very smoothly. Head to ticket window number 4, which is located on the right side of the building when you’re standing in St. Mark’s Square facing St. Mark’s Basilica. The entrance is on that side.

Gracie gave a great tour: she was very knowledgeable and Passionate and our family of 5 very much enjoyed her tour. Only other comment is that the tour went almost an hour longer than scheduled ... which would have been fine if we had planned for it :). I would definitely recommend this St Mark Basillica and Doge Palace tour! We especially liked the demo of the glassmaking at the end which was not expected Many thanks !

Last week

Everything went great. We showed our Headout vauchers to a staff member at the beggining of a very long line to a Dodge's palace and she let us skip the line and go directly to the ticket office, where our vaucher was exchanged for museum tickets. In addition to the tickets for the Dodge's palace, we were also handed the ticket for the Correr museum at the other side of the sauare.

What a hassle. I had to go to the ticket office to pick up the paper tickets I’d downloaded online for the Doge’s Palace. Absurd! The online tickets should have been enough. Plus, at the Doge’s Palace, to get the audio guide, you have to download an app and scan the QR code, but the internet connection wasn’t working. Terrible experience.

After a lot of rooms full of coins and statues and antiquities you suddenly enter the really good parts of the palace with the most incredible painted ceilings and frescoes. Walking through The Bridge of Sighs is really cool to see the prison cells. All in all the palace is well worth a visit. Really interesting.

I walked across Venice 40 minutes and never got lost once! I get to your shop to collect my ticket and couldn't get proper instructions for the 200 metres to Doge place tour entry from your staff in the office... I had to return twice to get proper instructions. Then when I get there I couldn't get help to input the app required, it was very unnecessary and frustrating.
