First, the skip-the-line feature is a savior in light of the lines of people waiting to get into both the Bascilica and Doge's palace. The tour allowed the group to get a LOT of information in the shortest amounr of time. Some of our party had previous done self-guided and said it did not compare to the guided tour. The ONLY complaint, the guides (we had one for each attraction) were quick to complete the tour(s) as they had another tour booked immediately afterward. So, the end of each felt a little rushed. However, we asked a lot of questions that were well answered during our tours.

The skip-the -line open ended ticket was great- No lines to wait in. The open ended entry between 12-6 was so wonderful because we were'nt exactly sure how long our gondola ride would be. We were able to come right over after and get right in without rushing or waiting around. The palace is absolutely amazing. We loved being able to go over the Bridge of Sighs. The only thing I found difficult was some of the numbers at displays didnot match the number on the audio. However, the audio was very well written and explained so much for us.

The tickets took us straight in, avoiding the queues (you have to check in any backpacks past security but it's free to do so). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Doges Palace. A great mixture of opulence in the Palace itself, compared to the Bridge of Sighs and dungeons which we found really interesting. Spent around 2hours there. We paid a little bit extra for the audio tour which was really in depth- we would have been ok just looking at the information boards in each room!

We entered the palace one hour before closing time and we did not wait at all. One of the most compelling reasons to visit the Doge’s Palace is its architecture and especially the ceilings of the grand halls — they are truly spectacular. Golden Staircase Ceiling has rich stuccoes embellished with gold leaf, frescoed panels, and allegorical figures. The staircase itself is a visual spectacle and sets the tone for what’s above. Sala del Maggior Consiglio- this enormous hall—53 m by 25 m (approx) and once seating 1,000+ nobles—features a wooden ceiling entirely covered with gold and painted canvases, without internal supporting columns. If I were to sum it up: yes, I highly recommend the skip-the-line ticket for the Doge’s Palace, especially if you’re visiting during a busy period. But importantly: go in with an eye for the architecture and ceilings — because those are among the things that set this place apart. If you’re short on time in Venice and want to maximize the experience without waiting in queues, the skip-entry is a smart choice. Make sure you allocate enough time (at least 60-90 minutes) to really savour the large halls, look upward, and absorb the ceiling details (and don’t rush through them).

It was very good mainly for its culture, it is a place that has a lot of history, it makes you feel as if you were in that time. The palace from the outside is impressive imagine knowing it from the inside! Greetings and thank you very much!

It was an interesting tour, but the audio guide was difficult to use and listen to live, it didn't follow the sequence of the rooms overlapping with the time allocated for each one.
