The instructions to enter the Museum and meet the guide were wrong; the guide or the tour company could not be reached by the phone number provided. Therefore the tour started out to be stressful. The guide, Serena, was kind and knowledgeable, but the tour progressed slowly; in the first hour we only saw three artifacts in the British Museum which I felt was suboptimal, therefore I actually ended up leaving the tour and started exploring myself. I recommend staying away from this tour and exploring the British museum self-guided. This tour was a loss!

I was not allowed to get in with my initial voucher. By the time I could get in to the museum from the back door, when we reached it was 1:58 and we missed our group. The phone number on the app was not reachable and I called the call center. They couldn't even reach to my guide. I had a terrible experience. We didn't realize that there would be a long wait to go through security so we were late and our guide was patient about that. The other couple was late as well. Maybe let attendees know ahead of time that the security line can be slow and to show up 20 minutes early. Our guide was pleasant enough but appeared unprepared for the tour. She had difficulty coming up with fairly simple English words and didn't seen as familiar with the museum as one would expect. If your customers prefer the guide speak in english, maybe you should hire a native speaker.

The museum is itself divided into 10 separate sections, each focussing on one particular part of world history such as Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, Britain and the British Empire, Asia, Coins and Medals, and more.

What to expect

Your guided tour not only gives you insights into the relics but will also curate your experience for maximum wonder and fascination. Glance at the controversial Parthenon Sculptures, taken from the Parthenon in Athens by Lord Elgin, and learn facts about it. Walk to the Ancient Egypt galleries, to see an extensive collection of Egyptian mummies. You can also see the Winged Bulls from Khorsabad, a sculpture from ancient Mesopotamia marking the entrance of the museum’s Assyrian galleries.
