We had an absolutely fantastic guided tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum! It was truly an unforgettable experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Ancient Rome. They brought everything to life and made the tour interesting and enjoyable from beginning to end. Walking through the Colosseum and imagining what life was like thousands of years ago was amazing. Palatine Hill was beautiful, with incredible views, and the Roman Forum was simply fascinating. Having a guide to explain the history and stories behind everything made such a big difference. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. A wonderful experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Thank you for making our visit to Rome so special!

We got into the Vatican so quickly and completely bypassed all lines which were veryyyyy long. Our guide got us in so fast and we even got to do the garden tour. I love that we got to split up our tickets for the coliseum and palatine hill because we were pretty beat after a long day at the Vatican. Loved the flexibility and ease of use for tickets. Will be using them again in the future!

Initially, I was doubtful about buying the ticket through Headout since it is not an official cultural heritage site, but I had to change my mind because we managed to enter at the scheduled time without any problems. The Colosseum is a must-see if you’re visiting Rome; the audio guides, which are always included with every Headout ticket, are very helpful. Headout is very efficient—it sends messages to remind you where to go on the day of your reservation and what steps to take to enter the site. If you’re visiting the Imperial Forums during the hot summer months, a parasol is highly recommended.

Everything was easy to find - of course, you get excited at such a monument :) The audio guide was too exhausting... there are too many numbers everywhere. You can listen to it beforehand. It's especially good in the Colosseum. That way, you look more closely and aren't distracted by the tour guides with their flags.

What’s not allowed

Objects such as large bags, sharp items and loose electronics must be placed in the X-ray tray during security screening.

Additional information

If your access includes Mamertine Prison, your visit must begin there and you must arrive at least 1 hour before your Colosseum time slot to collect your entry ticket.

Timed access applies to the Colosseum only; Forum and Palatine Hill can be visited anytime within 24 hours but each entrance may be used only once.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 mins or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Each site has different opening hours, so check in advance. Plan around 2–3 hours for the Colosseum, 1–1.5 hours each for Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, and 30–45 minutes for Mamertine Prison.
