I had booked through Toegang Arena, but the reservation was ultimately canceled via WhatsApp. The host on site said the Colosseum had done it, but there were a lot of people walking around in the Arena. On top of that, I received about 10 messages with a location change for the meeting point and a time change. I sent several emails confirming that I understood. I thought it was way too many messages, and in the end, the time hadn’t changed at all, so we ended up arriving way too early… The night before the tour, we were given the option to download an audio guide. Even though crowded it's absolutely stunning. It also hosts a very good exhibition on the city of troy that we enjoyed. Our tickets included a walk through the palatine hills and roman forum as well as mammertime prison and I have to say the whole visit was surreal. Absolutely worth the visit! And don't forget to get your tickets early to avoid the long lines😉
