Winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, 42nd Street is back in London with an extraordinary West End revival! Directed by Mark Bramble and with music and lyrics by Harry Warren and Al Dubin, watch as small-town, bright-eyed Peggy Sawyer pursues her dream of stardom after she chances upon a lead role in Broadway’s newest show.
In this spectacular production, 42nd Street brings the glitz of Broadway to West End. After a hit 1984 premier on London’s biggest stage, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, this year’s revival has once again received rave reviews. With a foot-tapping music score, the production features some of the best choreography of any showbiz musical. Travel back to the theatre industry circa the early 1900s and catch mesmerizing performances from Grammy Award winner Sheena Easton, Tom Lister, and Clare Halse.
The Story
42nd Street is the story of theatre itself. During the great depression, famed Broadway director Julian Marsh decides to stage his last mega production while coping with his failing health and finances. Things get complicated when the show’s leading lady, Dorothy, takes a fall on opening night. Will chorus girl Peggy Sawyer get the once in a lifetime opportunity to rise to stardom as she steps to take over the role? After all… the show must go on!

Everything went smoothly. The tickets were what we had requested and there were no problems collecting them from the Box Office. The only reason I haven't given 10 is that being based in England, I would use your partner company based here. We didn't realise at the time of booking that you were based in the US.Cash
