  • In March, the stage rendition of Yann Martel's well-known novel Life of Pi will come to Broadway. Yann Martel's bestseller book, was also adapted into an Academy Award-winning movie, and this play adaptation was written by Lolita Chakrabarti and directed by Max Webster. It went on to win the Olivier Award and will now open at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway. A 16-year-old Indian boy, Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel, is the protagonist in this story which depicts his 226 days stranded on a lifeboat with only a Bengal tiger, hyena, zebra and orangutan for company.
