Aquópolis Villanueva de la Cañada is one of the largest water parks in Europe and one of the most well-known too. One of Madrid’s two main water parks, it’s situated just 25 minutes from the capital city. Plan an energetic day at Aquópolis in Villanueva de la Cañada which not only offers exciting activities to do but is also a place where you can relax on the beach and just soak up the sun.
If you’re a thrill-seeker, check out super slides and extreme rides like Black Hole, Splash, Turbolance, Waikiki, Kangaroo with its six slides, and the dizzying Boomerang. Guests who want a more relaxed experience on rides but with the fun element still present can explore Zig Zag, Golden Pond, Soft Slopes, the favorite Lazy River and Rapid River, and the non-stop waves of the Wave Pool. Kids can have a blast at the large children’s area that consists of a Mini Park and Tiki Island with safe and fun slides and swimming pools. What’s more, there are kid-friendly versions of the extreme rides so that younger guests don’t feel left out.
There are also many relaxation zones in the Park like the popular Malibu Beach where you can sunbathe, sip on a cold and delicious drink, and get a bite to eat from the beach shacks and kiosks.

- You can leave the Park however many times you want during your visit but you’ll have to return in 20-minutes.
- Swimwear and appropriate clothing have to be worn on rides or swimming at the Park.
